Aubree: The Little Mermaid | Ahoskie, NC Child Photographer

My favorite movie of all times is The Little Mermaid by Disney! When Jenny Jenkins asked me to take her baby girls one year pictures of her in a little mermaid crotched costume my heart started singing! Aubree has to be the prettiest little mermaid I have ever seen! She had a wardrobe full of A-mazing clothes and we were able to get a few of them in. Big shout out to Jenny and her mother for working hard on the props, chalkboards, and cake - everything was perfect! I would like to thank my close friend, and Jenny's sister, Jamie, for coming to the session and helping. Their were a few moments when Aubree made it clear "it was her party and she cry if she want to!" :-) But hey, it is HER birthday! Here are a few of my favorites:

Thatcher turns One! | Edenton, NC Child Photographer

I had such a good time earlier this week photographing the Bass family at their home in Edenton, NC. It is hard to believe that David and Laura's baby has turned one! They have two beautiful boys and they are always up for taking pictures, which makes my job easy! Laura did an excellent job coordinating the families clothing. We were even able to include the newest member of the family, their golden retriever, Belle, in a few of the photos. Here are a few of my favorites from the session:

Little Man at Hope Plantation | Windsor, NC Child Photographer

Isn't this little man absolutely adorable! I am truly blessed to be able to capture my childhood best friend  sons growth! You may remember Conley from several sessions I have done over the past few months and it is amazing to see how much he changes in a couple of months.
