Lukes Turning Four | Eastern NC Child Photographer

Last week I met one of my besties, Jamie and her two adorable boys in Askewville to take pictures for her youngest son, Luke's 4th birthday coming up next month. I cannot believe this child is getting ready to be four years old!!! One of my favorite themes is little boys going fishing so when she told me what she wanted I was tickled! Here are a few of my favorites and Luke did amazing!

Spring Mini Sessions | Eastern NC Child Photographer

It's MINI session time!!! This year I put together a couple of scenes for both boys and girls and with the help of my husband, friends and family with props, it was a success! It is not always easy to photograph mini sessions because of lighting situations, it can be physically and mentally exhausting but it just so happens that MINI sessions are MY THING!!  Thanks to the sweet little bunnies we were able to borrow, they held the little ones attention to get just the perfect shot! I want to shout out to a few people for letting me borrow some of my props: Ivy Lane Florist, Brittany Williford, Michelle Reason, Sue Cowan, Jamie Mizelle, Mindy Jernigan, Briana Cottle, and both my Grandma Hill for her gorgeous quilts and Ganny Eubanks. Freeman Engagement Session | Eastern NC Photographer

Congratulations to Josh and Kate on their engagement and upcoming wedding this November! I am so excited to share with you this session and it's very close to my heart because they're family! Josh is my husbands first cousin and I was so excited to meet his fiance',  Kate who is so sweet and by the way gorgeous! You got a good one Josh!! <3 We chose to photograph their session on a local farm with the rustic, country, bohemian vibe and it was absolutely beautiful and both are so photogenic. Here are a few of my favorites from the session:
